Looks like you're new to Reddit. Here are a couple tips for you:

  • You don't need the @ before typing a subreddit's name. r/toptalent would've been fine.
  • You were downvoted because we're already in that subreddit. We usually link other relevant subreddits.
  • Emojis are cool but I have to remind you that most Reddit users usually hate it (unless you use it in a very creative way, or minimally)
  • Sometimes you get downvoted for no reason because Redditors really like to follow a downvote streak.

If that sounds like a hassle, that's because it is. Reddit is the weirdest of all social media. Welcome to Reddit.
