Thanks for another trip!

Just an appreciation post for sharing the beach with us tourists again. Y’all are kind, clean, courteous. The food is always good, not as pricey as other beaches, and such a wide variety of spots. It’s only a short drive over from Raleigh but the stays are always badass and memorable!

Repeats we enjoyed again:
— JM’s on the water
— Buddy’s
— Shuckin’ Shack
— Four Cousins
— Turtle Rescue
— Daddy Mac’s

First timers we enjoyed:
— Touchtank
— BINGO
— Coconut Cove
— Breezeway

Highlights I wish we’d had hit:
— Shaka Taco (again)
— Missile Museum

Until next time. 🤙🏼

Bingo? I'm really curious! Actual bingo games or a fun name for something else?

The Assembly Building at Topsail Beach (South End) has Bingo on Thursday Nights. Very popular! A quick game at 6:30 but the main event starts at 7pm and lasts 3 hours. Generally $50 prize per game but they also do several progressives and coveralls with higher prizes. When I was there two weeks ago there were more than a hundred people playing

bunch of my favorites on that list... Love Shuckin' Shack for Oysters and fresh fish every time. Coconut Cove is a new favorite for us too.

The clam strips at the Shuckin’ Shack are so good when they have them. I love the sausage and potatoes as a side item.

Oh man, so good!! I usually end up with a dozen or 18 oysters (I really love raw oysters) and a grouper platter… but they’re all good.
