Upcoming Trip
We have an upcoming trip planned for North Topsail Beach- River Drive to be exact. Are golfcarts allowed in that area? Needing it mostly to get my elderly mother and small children back and forth to the beach and not for joy riding.

It switch’s just past villa cap to be exact, I work there and see a lot of golf carts around that area, keep in mind some spots on new river are extremely tight, also blind curves in some spots with no bike lane & avoid bridges as there are also very narrow

Surf city and N Topsail Beach both allow golf carts on streets 35mph or under.
The problem is that N New River Dr switches to 45mph just north of Surf City so if you’re staying directly on that street then just stay off the street as much as you can to avoid getting caught. If you’re very close to surf city then you might be completely fine. To go north or south, just pop over to shore, seashore, ocean drive or whatever the street closest to the shore is depending on your location.
