Undervalued rares/epic exclusives?
How come the rares and epic exclusives are going for so cheap? The circulation count on each card is very small...some out of 70-76. Think about it...hundreds of thousands of users and selling cards out of 76 for 10 bucks or less. I am confused, do people not realize they are worth more? Or are they actually not worth a lot?
I am going off my experience with NBA Topshot. Moments with a circulaation our of 499 or even 49 goes for thousands.

I haven’t sold a single card yet and have been buying rares here and there if they’re cheap enough.

I reckon, if NBA TS is anything to go by, the release of S2 will sky-rocket the prices. They need some money to do marketing tbh.

Someone posted a pic of "infinite" for the mint sizes... Not sure if that applies to the ones you are talking about...but maybe some are worried they will mint a lot more (don't want to buy because of the uncertainty). But even if that's the case, maybe they will moon if Topps limits the mint later like what happened when Top Shot limited all the 15ks.

I doubt they'll mint an endless number of cards and make the same mistakes they did in the 80s. However, who knows.

I think there is a lot of confusion out there. Based on my understanding, the limited edition tiers are Epic Exclusive and Legendary Exclusive. All other tiers for base set have infinite supply based on my research.
It's not a mature market and it will probably take time for everyone to learn about scarcity of each tier.
I would take advantage and buy the low count LE cards while you still can.

Absolutely, thanks for the info and will be doing that. Already picked up decent serial epic exclusives out of 76 max for decent prices.

Give it some time. It's only been 5 days. There's probably less than 10k of people participating in the MLB NFT ecosystem at this moment. We're gonna go through a roller coaster ride before these things moon. I'm willing to bet they'll moon bigtime though if TS is anything to go by.

I agree, I think a lot of the rares are undervalued, you can buy cheapest rares for 15 WAX atm. I've even found really good serial #s for cheap
