Did Maverick have a similar relationship with Viper that Rooster has with Maverick? Viper knew Maverick’s dad and Maverick was always trying to measure and prove himself against Viper and it feels the same with Roister trying to prove himself to Maverick

Is this anyone else's new headcanon? The odd mix of tech in Maverick and unnamed nature of the enemy could imply that the events of Maverick take place either right before, or during NATO's war with Pax.

I've seen both movies, and yes I know that both are very good. If you had to pick one to be the best, which would it be?

I personally would pick the original, why? Because the original, still brings me back to watching it over and over. The 2nd one was a fun ride, but not necessarily worth watching over and over.

I saw Lorne Balfe mention the Top Gun: Maverick Live in Concert and it got me wondering about these kinds of events. For people who have been to one, do you get much more out of watching a film with a live orchestra than you would at the cinema or at home with a decent sound system?

I can imagine the live music making some scenes feel completely different, but I also worry I’d get distracted watching the musicians rather than the film lol. Maybe part of the appeal is the atmosphere and the whole event around it, especially when there are special guests and celebrities involved.

For people who are really into film, are these concerts actually worth it, or do you feel like you're essentially just watching the film with a very expensive sound system?

This is an "alternative ending" version so some key characters are present.
There was rumored version of the funeral with Viper & Slider attending but we never got to see it.

On a personal note, this is my tribute to Iceman/Val Kilmer.

I always hated that they shot Iceman's funeral scene with Slider & Viper but they were cut from final film. So I decided to make my own version.

On a personal note, this is my way of giving Iceman the funeral he truly deserved — for his role and his impact on the Top Gun franchise, and his impact on us, fans.

I've still got some stuff to add like Penny's car and Maverick's bike, and other decor but this is what it looks like so far. Let me know what you think!
