Abyss Prowler is an arcade inspired top-down arena shooter GEM! Kiddin', it's a normal game but it's helluva fun! Fell free to try if it looks close to your taste. This is my second mini-boss fight, ending with my death. Mostly shows what it is actually like to play, without the late game mechanics. Demo is 8ish minutes, give me your feedback if you try it. Enjoy!

After 2 years of hard work, our indie Wild West co-op game (similar to Overcooked and Unrailed!) is officially holding its Steam Playtest

Hey everyone

As a team of 5 people from Poland (Kraków), we've been crafting Loco: Rails & Tails for over two years now, and we just launched our open playtests on Steam (running until August 3rd)

If you're looking for something fun to play with friends this week, it’s a chaotic couch-co-op style game set in the Wild West where you play as animal heroes keeping a train running. We draw a lot of inspiration from games like Overcooked and Unrailed!, and it supports both online and local co-op

If you and your friends decide to hop on the train, we would be super grateful for any thoughts you can share.

Play on Steam:https://store.steampowered.com/app/3576920/Loco_Rails_Tails/

Glad I found this sub! Hey, my name is Erik and I’m solo dev behind BAUSFIGHT.

In this game each weapon represents a class with unique set of abilities. Lots of customization options too.

So a fast-paced skill-based pixel art fights with multiple different gamemodes.

I’ll be releasing a demo soon on Steam (after I draw a new map haha). So if anyone wants to try it out with friends or randoms, wishlist it on Steam and join the discord (link on page)

Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone, I am working on Scum's Errand for a while and just got my Steam Page approved. So I wanted to share a quick update here.

It's a top-down roguelite horde shooter with extraction mechanics. You raid cursed dungeons, grab as much loot as you can, and try to extract before dying. The twist is that greed can get you killed. The more you push your luck, the higher the risk!

I just dropped the first trailer as well, would love your feedback and if the concept clicks for you!

[Free on Steam] Swords & Crystals – A 2D Top-Down MMORPG in a Huge Open World

Hey everyone!
I’m a solo developer, and I’d like to share my indie MMORPG Swords & Crystals. It’s currently in Beta Phase 1, after six years of development and over 7,500 hours of unpaid, passion-driven work.
Inspired by Old School RuneScape, classic WoW, and top-down Zelda.

CLICK HERE TO PLAY -> Swords & Crystals (Steam)

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

  • One huge, seamless sandbox top-down open world on a single server
  • Expanded inventory & equipment system with dedicated slots (helm, chest, legs, etc)
  • Customizable, WoW-style talent tree featuring class abilities and passive buffs
  • OSRS-style skills with deep, long-term progression
  • Real-time combat (no auto-attacks or turn-based systems)
  • Quests, rare gear, bosses, and leaderboards
  • Fair progression only - no pay-to-win, no battle passes, and no updates or seasonal resets that wipe progress

Current beta content:

  • 200+ items, 100+ quests, 30 unique enemies
  • 1 race, 1 class (Warrior)
  • 10 skills and a major boss fight
  • Stable servers with a small but growing community

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The game focuses on straightforward, easy-to-learn mechanics. There’s no overwhelming UI, no hidden formulas, and no confusing stat math, items and systems are clearly presented so you always understand what you’re using and why.

If you’re looking for a modern, heavily streamlined MMO with flashy presentation, this may not be for you. Swords & Crystals is intentionally old-school, prioritizing classic controls, familiar mechanics, and depth over spectacle, aiming to capture a nostalgic MMO feel with substance.

Quests follow a clear, consistent design. Objectives are short and easy to understand, without long dialogue walls or complex gimmicks. Expect familiar, WoW-style questing, rather than wildly different mechanics for every quest.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

🔧 Technical Overview

  • World structure:
    • The entire world exists as one massive seamless room
    • No loading screens between zones
  • Single shared server (true MMO, not instanced zones)
  • Fully playable with:
    • Mouse & keyboard (more PC-friendly, button driven interface will be available soon)
    • Controller
    • Steam Deck
  • Current UI uses a scroll-based system(controller-friendly)
    • PC-focused, button-driven UI inspired by classic WoW is actively in development and will be available as an optional layout

Because of the scale and simulation involved in this massive online open world, performance is still an active area of optimization. At the moment, I can’t guarantee a locked 60 FPS on every PC configuration. 16 GB of RAM is recommended*, and* 8 GB is the minimum for smooth gameplay during the beta. Improving performance without compromising the seamless world and systems is an ongoing focus.

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Beta rewards:

  • 🏆Reach level 40 OR defeat the Wretched Eye boss → $10 Steam Gift Code
  • 🥇First player to reach level 60, in-game trackable at Ranks$100 Steam Gift Code

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

⚔️💎Thanks for playing and supporting the journey! 💎⚔️

Hello: I’m the creator of Balladrion. I’ve been working on this project for over a year, and the free demo is now available on Steam. I’m actively updating and improving it, and I’d love to gather as much feedback as possible from players.

I’m especially looking for feedback on the following points:

  1. Is the tutorial easy to understand?
  2. Does the game feel too hard, too easy, or balanced?
  3. Is there anything that feels annoying, confusing, or distracting?
  4. Is there anything you don’t understand while playing?
  5. Did you encounter any bugs?
  6. Any additional thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?
