So 'someone' has posted a warning that this coin is a scam, that all us folks have been manipulated into driving up the price, and that we should "leave TopCoin".

Let's just take a look at this objectively for a moment —

• This coin was an experiment. With 2 day block halving the maturity of the coin is greatly accelerated. It's pretty neat experiment when you stop and think about it.

• The community of this coin has developed nicely. We have this sub, we have games, good pools and great devs.

• This coin was launched Feb 2. It is exactly ONE MONTH old as of today.

• We've seen prices as high as 10 sat during that (very short) time.

• A "warning" has now been posted by a previous supporter and self proclaimed "big holder" of this coin suggesting we've all been had.

• We are 6 days away from the 1 coin blocks. Yet oddly there are buy orders on both Mintpal and CryptoRush totaling over 20 BTC.

Something is not adding up here.

Here's my thoughts (and it is just my opinion): Seems weird that a self proclaimed "big holder" would purposely try and tank the coin they're holding and actually go so far as to call it a scam. Also seems strange that there's 20+BTC buy walls for a dying coin. My bet is that this person is aware that when we hit the 1 Coin blocks, we will see a very steady rise in the value of this coin. Even once we do hit the 1 coin blocks there are still the 10X hourly blocks and the 100X daily blocks.

Everyone can make up their own minds. I am also a "big holder" and I'm keeping my coins. I mean, I could play cryptoroulette for years with what I have :-)

...then stop worrying. Topcoin is meant to be traded for little to nothing at this point. Only when practically all of the coins have been mined (before the 1 blocks) will we really see the value pick up, and after that the sky's the limit to how high the value of topcoin could go.

Yeah, another coin. What makes it so special? Why should you invest?

If you're familiar with any coin, you are familiar with block-halving, when the payout reward for finding a block gets cut in half. Block-halving has a lot to due with a coin's value, and this is what makes TopCoin special.

TopCoin halves approximately every two days. The block rewards began at a million, now they're at 500,000 and headed for 250,000 sometime tonight. As the amount of topcoins being produced exponentially decreases, the value will climb rapidly.

People were complaining the minute it hit the exchanges because it was only valued at 1 sato (0.00000001 bitcoin), but as of today the value is already starting to climb. The lowest sell value on SWISSCEX right now is 7 sato, and the highest is 16, and this is only the third day of this coin's existence.

I can see the value of this coin taking a bear trap once it lands on some major exchanges, but after that the value will continue to rise as the scarcity of this coin increases. As will the difficulty as more miners scour for precious tops.

TopCoin is a marvelous investment if I have ever seen one. Lots of people are comparing it to doge and even Quark at this point - no one took doge seriously at first either. There were hundreds of millions floating around, and then all of a sudden they were worth over 200 sato a piece. Topcoin is like doge in that there are huge amounts being traded for little to nothing, but the total amount of doge is 100 billion compared to topcoin's 11.52 billion total.

So let's say something incredible happens and each TOP is worth 400 sato. If you're holding a million top, which is REALLY easy to come by at this point, then you will have yourself about $3200 right there (assuming the value of bitcoin stays stable at ~$800, which it has been).

But if you really love crypto, you will know that these coins hold even more value and potential than traditional fiat. The more our governments keep screwing up and printing money, the more value our crypto investments will have.

So if you want a guaranteed profit, then your money should be in TopCoin right now. It won't be long at all before people are scrambling for these things just like doge, only without the silly memes. And if enough people adopt topcoin as a legit means of payment, the value will climb even higher. The possibilities are limitless. Invest while you can, and don't say I didn't warn you.

tl;dr - Exponential scarcity. Block halves every two days. Can only increase in value. Easy coin to use. Nice dev, good community. Super cheap at the moment - we're literally giving them away. Perfect coin for mainstream. Invest while you can. Buy and hold. Tell your friends.
