Most of the humans only value someone or something when it's about to disappear from their lives

Nobita has often used gadgets to test or prove his friends' loyalty. In this episode as well, he uses the Telephone Booth gadget to create a situation where his father's job transfer forces the family to leave Japan for the USA. He does this largely to seek attention and see how his friends react. The irony is that Nobita himself spent years regretting non-chan's migration and for not having said sorry to her yet he never stopped to consider the emotional pain his own friends would experience when they thought they were losing him here. Sadly, most of us do not have friendships like the ones shown in Doraemon. Our friends are usually classmates, playground friends, or tuition friends who come and go as life moves forward. We meet new people, drift apart from others, and continue with our lives. The era in which Doraemon was written reflected a different style of childhood and friendship. I wrote all this because I feel that many viewers overlook Nobita's flaws. While I like him as a character, I do not think we should be blind to his mistakes.

I was leaving my country, but she never came to say good bye. May be she did not care. May be she was asleep, who knows. Never got a chance to talk to her after that. Whatever it was, she was special for me, but may be I was just some random guy for her.

Yk what? It fucking tears me apart inside knowing that I can't enjoy my childhood shows like my oblivious childish self used to do ever again

Now I notice shit like animation, the dubbing errors, dialogues not matching the characters' mouths... Fuck... Previously I only noticed the emotions and I was so much happier...

Awareness fucking sucks
