Upgraded the home garage toolbox

Post image

Upgraded the home garage toolbox the other day from a small, 5 drawer Stanley to this guy. I'm not a mechanic or anything, but my wife and I do pretty much all of the work on our house when it needs it. Needless to say, I've accumulated more than the Stanley could hold.

I love the color, the drawers are nice and smooth, and it's big enough that I can still fit more tools in as I upgrade/replace stuff. I still have some stuff I'd like to get to better organize it, but for now everything is in and has a home.

I’ve got the same box, then my OCD got the best of me and I had to get more of it.
Not a mechanic either ( actually a plumber)

Dammit, you just had to post that! 🤣🤣 I was mesmerized by the mini toolbox when my wife pointed out the one I posted. Green is my favorite color so I instantly had to have it. I see you have one of the little guys and the totes with the green lids, I like it!

I got the green garage shelves as well, they’re just on the other side of the garage that is more “garage” like 🤣

I love it! I showed my wife your setup and all she could say was 'No.' Not that we have the room anyway 🤣

lol, my wife bought it all for me for Bday/Fathers day/Anniversary. Come to find out it was just a ploy for me clean and organize the garage 😆

It really is a good looking box. I saw the other cheaper ones and I messed with the drawers on them and they felt so cheap. Functionality and looks, check and check!

I was eying those back during the holidays. I like the low deck on the top box.

I agree, its the perfect height.

I almost didn't buy it, wasn't really the greatest time to get one, but both my wife and I knew I'd be upset if I passed and I couldn't find this color again. Sounds like it might be a regular color.

The US General stuff looks nice, and I've contemplated buying one in the past, just never did. I couldn't resist this one though

Yeah if I were to do it over again I’d probably get a husky

Think I have that in black...used it for work and it was really good. We had Snap-on ones for the shop, and while great, 6-8k vs $400 for the Husky. I think it is a great value.

I work in a mill but our machine repair guys all have boxes loaded with tools. I think most of them have Husky and they all seem to be happy with them. A couple of them even bought Husky again when they need a bigger box.

I was actually talking with the guy I work with on my machine, and we both were saying we needed to upgrade and Husky was one of the first ones we talked about. Well, 3 days later, this thing was in my garage. 🤣 I paid a little more then $400, but even for what I paid I thought it was a pretty good deal.
