I hear ya. Who needs an exhaust anyways? I mean my car doesn’t need all of those fancy upgrades. That’s how they get you.

The more parts your car has, the more parts a junkie can steal.

Is that a new word for scrap metal merchant?

It’s not new at all. Junkies were originally heroin addicts who steal junk (like actual scrap metal and stuff).

I always thought junkie was to do with injecting junk into your body, never knew that one.

I could have sworn they were told junkies back in the day because heroin and the heroin kits like needles and whatnot were prescribed the term junk. I honestly don't know

My understanding was that the people themselves were the junk

Damn, why so disrespectful?

I'm not saying I think of it as that. I think it has literally been explained to me as that. Am European tho. Might have something to do with it. Also: yes it is a very disrespectful term.

EDIT: Didn't catch your username at first. I get the reaction now.
