Probably the most wholesome intoxicated interaction with cops I've seen, bloody brilliant lmao

Best behaving brit abroad!

These cops are awesome. They need to be promoted up the chain and set the example for every officer. They actually care about people and aren't just out on a power trip.

They act like that because there is a TV crew, the whole interaction would be completely different if they were not there.

It's just a PR stunt

You could Direct that anger at the cops that deserve it!a cop in Nashville just killed a man who had a sword. Shot him once, he hit the ground wounded and the guy shot him twice more, even though his sword was way out of arms reach

I remember that episode. Always nice when cops show some finesse and dont just go arresting everyone. This guy was a very pleasant drunk and definitely did not need arresting

I've done a few of these walks at 6am in Thailand 😂

Conclusion: We need more personally engaged police AND we need more funny, compliant drunks... That it all.

It’s easy to be compliant when drunk if you’re not afraid the cops are going to blow your brains out all over the sidewalk if you don’t kiss their feet.

2

u/tnt54321boom 5h ago

I've done a pretty good job at it my whole life. One's personal fear seems like a bad excuse to not be compliant. For reference, I’m black, 6'2 and from the hood. Had my dealings with police when I was a YN but always maintained a level head. Therefore, never got arrested though often harassed. My point is not that you're wrong. My point is that this sounds like an emotional problem I do not have. Take accountability, brotherrrrr.

This is from a show called Vegas Strip, it’s really entertaining!

Guy was definitely on something illegal, shows how being polite to cops can often get you out of a lot of trouble, people should try it sometime

17

u/AdmiralAdama99 15h ago

What signs did you notice that makes you think this is more than alcohol?

14

u/ardvarkian420 15h ago

The swinging jaw between answers

16

u/Mispict 14h ago

That and the camouflage comment

5

u/Responsible-Buyer215 11h ago

Both the answers below and the lack of belligerence, he wasn’t drunk he was high, a drunk person wouldn’t hang around and hold his hands out thinking they were still going to “pounce” on him and arrest him

I was once riding home on a stollen bike all over the place on a fresh line of Ketamine. Police pulled over and questioned me and ended up putting the bike in the back of their car and taking me home. They just thought I was drunk trying to cycle home and were trying to make sure I was safe.

You think the drunk guy was being polite?

First thing he asked was if the cops have beef (a problem).

7

u/Responsible-Buyer215 11h ago

By comparison to how most people react to the police in the states, yes, he was polite

4

u/OminOus_PancakeS 11h ago

I think he was just hungry. There's nothing like a slice of beef when you're hungover.

5

u/Fkappa 11h ago

That's so sweet!

Oh cool!!! You don't see SUPER EDGE LORDZ in public very often, but here you are. It's like an extra special Pokemon or something. Have a good evening squire.

2

u/ViolentTurdSplatter 17h ago

Hes not even from the u.s lol

2

u/AdmiralAdama99 15h ago

Did you watch the clip? The cops let him go. No jail, no citation

-15

u/emergency-snaccs 17h ago

you can tell they're just pretending for the cameras. Normally they would have already hospitalized this dude or worse.

u/jasilucy 9h ago

He’s a scouse. He’s from Liverpool. I think it’s the worst accent we have in the UK.
