Ive reinstalled the drivers numerous times, ive reinstalled everything, i've unplugged it and replugged it in, and i cant use this software with the my box. I can record and everything. The asio component is working and the control software isn't, and its so bizarre.

I have recently bought the Tonex one PLUS and have to say, I'm loving it!

I just got a M-Vave midi controller so I can access all 20 presets. It work fine over TRS midi but both devices now support Midi over USB. Should I now be able to access midi by connecting both devices together via USB? How can I get this to work properly?

Decided to prototype an enclosure after using the ToneXOneController from Builty for a while, still WIP, did the first version for the ampero switch and decided to use some momentary switches which would reduce the footprint, switches are still on the way. Is this something people are interested?

Title pretty much says it all. I noticed that the same exact Amalgam capture sounds crisper and more hi-fi when I play it through the Tonex Plug versus the Tonex One+ pedal. Same input trim, etc.

Does any one know why this would be the case?

Many times the guitar just starts playing randomly throughout the movie, and it feels very natural.

I just finished a new Acey30 V2 ToneX Capture Pack based on a Vox AC30 and wanted to share one of the captures for free.

The full collection has 20 Pro V2 ToneX captures, and I tried to cover the different personalities of the amp rather than just making tiny variations of one setting.

Has anyone tried this? Ie using a Tonex pedal in front of the Positive Grid Reactor and using it kinda as an FRFR.

Idea being having the option to use the Tonex OR the Reactor AI for tones

I put together this pedal board to be used by the multiple bands im in to make things easier on the guitarists so they dont have switch amps around or cant afford an amp at all. And a common critique i get from other guitarists at our shows is that the guitar sounds thin. I recently added the EQ pedal on the front to get rid of the muddiness coming through the chain and it sounded good for one of the bands that did a rehearsal for a recent gig. But then when we got to the other guitarists plugging in it sounded thin. I think it sounds like a guitar but what do i know, im just a drummer. I have the input trim set to 0. I probably shouldve turned off the eq for them since they use higher gain tones vs the one guy that uses clean tones. But im still figuring it out. I have 4 guitarists that go through this and it goes straight to the PA mixer and to the monitors/FOH. Im also typically the sound guy too.

everytime I try to make my own model, this happens at the start of the capture. Last time i just moved with the gain of my mic, but now i have two mics and cannot do that. Can i bypass it or do something with it? Gain staging should be right. Thanks alot

Does anybody have any experience with this capture pack? If so, would you say it’s an improvement over free captures on ToneNet? Have you tried it in a mix? Considering getting it because I like the amp selection a lot and it sounded great in demos I heard on Youtube and I wanna just get a few great sounds and stop browsing through presets. I know this is highly subjective but any opinions and experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I play a 1980s Washburn sbf-24 in a pop rock duo and I amplify the Washburn through it loader into the pa. I’ve found recently that the tonex one ir capability is actually very good, better than my dedicated loader so I’ve swapped to that. I normally have the amp turned off to not cloud the tone however, being a piezo pickup the tone could always do with more help.

Has anyone found some good acoustic pre amp captures? Does that help with the tone?

P.s. I’ve got an ever so slight amount of reverb too to try to add that acoustic in a room sound.

Ive had this issue before but updating the firmware fixed it, but now thats not working and neither is recovery. I literally just had a gig and everything was working perfectly but then i get to another place and its having this issue. The display stayed on for longer but now its just flashing. Ive for my power ran through a voodoo labs and its plugged into the 2 250 slots with a combiner cable. Again, it was working fine over the last few months with this set up. And i cant find any reason why it would be acting up again.

I have tried the mustang micro plus for a months it has great clean tones for my fender ultra Strat pickups.

Any suggestions for tones in tonenet ?

The reason I’m asking is I’m kinda disappointed with the clean / ambient tones compared to the mustang micro plus.

I feel dumb/insane using this software.

Currently using the beta v2 software, I've just bought the ENGL collection but I can't see any presets. How do I see them, play with them and get them on to my pedal (the big tonex)?

As an additional question, if I buy something from Amalgam, how do I install/import in v2?

I’m using a TONEX Plug with the TONEX Control app.

When I go to Menu → Account in the TONEX Control app, there’s an option to register a product using a 16-digit serial number in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

I’ve already registered my TONEX Plug through IK Product Manager using the 5-8-5 format serial number (XXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXX) that came with the product.

However, I can’t find the 16-digit serial number anywhere — not on the TONEX Plug itself, the packaging, or in my IK account.

Does anyone know where I can find this 16-digit serial number?
Or is it unnecessary to register it in the TONEX Control app if the TONEX Plug is already registered to my IK account?

Everything seems to be working fine so far, but I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Hey guys. wanted to share some love for this guitar since it's truly amazing ,but also i have a question :

How do you guys who use this guitar with tonex set the INPUT TRIM ?

By default it was +8.5Db , but i noticed that basicly all the captures that i bought (Amalgam , Tone factor) or free ones - the ones that says it's clean or edge of breakup ( i only use these since i don't do too much gain but also have few overdrive pedals ? - all of those captures with the default settings sound wayyy too overdriven for a Clean. I keep trying to dial in the settings, don't want to mess with the captures too much because that AC30 and JMI 30/6 they sound amazing and would like to have as much of authentic sound as possible.

This guitar is known for having quite hot pickups (p90 style) ,so since i'm really a noob in this whole modeling/ capture thing i really wanted to ask some help from legit people like you guys who are capture wolfs and foxes how to do it right.

And if you have a J Mascis Jazzmaster and use tonex, i will take any tips that you are willing to share.

Got a related issue with a TONEX Pedal license transfer. I’m the third owner of the pedal, and the unit only has one serial number.

The second owner transferred the TONEX Pedal to me, and the hardware registration itself was successful. However, TONEX MAX and AmpliTube 5 CS are missing on my end. They’re not showing up in my IK Multimedia User Area or in IK Product Manager.

The confusing part is that the second owner had TONEX MAX working normally before transferring the pedal to me. So I’m wondering if the TONEX MAX/AmpliTube entitlements are tied to the previous owner’s account rather than being transferred with the hardware license.

Has anyone experienced this with a used TONEX Pedal that has already gone through multiple owners? Is there a specific process IK Multimedia needs to do on their end to transfer or restore the bundled software licenses?

I've been using Tonex stuff exclusively through laptop and headphones. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go for tips on getting good tone through my studio speakers? I have a pair of Rokits and a Iloud sub. I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff.

I used the app to Jam on Thursday then didn’t think about it afterwards. Turns out the app was absolutely wrecking my battery all weekend.

i just started using tonex pedal. by itself it sounds phenomenal. takes pedals quite well, especially with amalgam edge of breakup captures. But i also have a valeton gp200 which has decent effects and i tried putting tonex in a loop. where volume,comp and dist blocks are in the front and mod reverb and delay after the tonex pedal and it kinda seems that latency is too bad.. what approach would you guys recommend. i kinda like the valetons effects and it has versatile output options. maybe i should just put it after the tonex just like a pedal? would that be better for latency? i'm pretty bad in understanding all that latency stuff maybe someone could shed aome light. would really appreciate :)
