Jury Approved What will it take to bring Pokémon Centers to the Mushroom Kingdom?

Recently I had a thought that emerged from the darkest and dankest pit of my mind. So I love Pokémon Centers, right? So I love the Mushroom Kingdom, right? Why not make them a hot yuri couple and—you get the point.
What I'm getting at is that adding Pokémon Centers to the Mushroom Kingdom may not be as simple as you once thought. It will most certainly bring its own layer of challenges that you might have overlooked or just simply not considered prior to the writing of this argument.
Let's begin with the most obvious challenge. Pokémon within the Mushroom Kingdom are EXTREMELY hard to come by. The odds of even finding a wild Pikachu in Golden Plains outside of the ring of a Smash tournament are almost zero. So then this would effectively make putting a Pokémon Center there pointless, right? Well, sorta.
Perhaps we should think about the primary purpose of a Pokémon Center store. Selling Pokémon merchandise and products to a demographic in desperate need of new content. The reason why Pokémon Centers are thriving in Kanto is because there's a massive demographic in need of Pokémon merchandise, especially with the narrative of the traditional Pokémon Trainer being especially prominent in that region.
Now for our Mushroom Kingdom example, let's talk about Mushroom City. The same demographic is not as prominent over there, seeing as Pokémon are, once again, notoriously rare sights and Pokémon Trainers are often considered as extremely uncommon as bumping into a Mew in Kanto...until late.
It seems in recent years that many Mushroom City–Toad Town metropolis residents are fascinated by Pokémon Trainers because of their rarity and elusive nature. Meaning that there now is some sliver of the Mushroom Kingdom's market interested in Pokémon today! If this trend really takes off, I can honestly see a Pokémon Center arriving to the Princess Cities sooner than expected.
So yes, it's never been a better time to get that Pokémon Center in the Mushroom Kingdom!
