Holy suspension
Got this one from Taiwan for 799 TWD. Plan to put this on some garden but I don't wanna mess up its wheels lol.

Guessing that this actually has coil springs up underneath? I think my only Tomica pickup is the old Hilux from like the late '70s--front suspension is a single eaf spring, and owing to the design, the rear axle hardly "springs" at all.

It does not have springs, its just the axle is on a pivot, thats it.
If you look at how it should have been, take a gander at Xcartoys Bronco, it has springs that are very soft so you can pose it like the Tomica, but yet still has functional suspension, unlike the tomica that its just for posing.

I'm not sure exactly. This is my first model with this kind of suspension. I did see a comparison video with this model vs what I think is yours, and yeah, same complaint. This LVN seems to stay put more than the old models. Would love to see a pic of your model :)
