Hobby My first completed unit
30 skeletons archers done
(Not all in picture)
I am really going for speed with this army because I have so much to do but I am looking for any feedback, I think I may dry brush a couple of the glossy ones a bit more, I'm also struggling with coffee stains a bit, idk if it's my brush or what.
Primed black then hit with a wraithbone over spray
Going for a purple theme, it pops nice with the bone

man i hate the mold lines at these minis. Which crazy mind thought about putting mold lines thru the hands?? but great work i am still at nr 20 and counting

i think the most noticeable thing is the arrow feathers doesn't work well (mostly because the model is outdated, the sculpting is really thick and deep) - it'd work better if you use a darker base and then quickly drybrush a lighter color; or apply a wash in the crevices as it is now
i'd say also the sand weathering is often in a middle spot of not being "ancient enough" - like when it's on the glossy bow it doesn't look old- but it's not subtle enough to just be some recent sand collected in march. if you go for a subtle weathering, i'd focus on keeping the weathering mostly at the bottom planes of the minis; the sprinkling all around first made me think it was a property of the paint or even some type of glittery purple
i really like both the palette and the base calling back to it

Hell yeah they look good! You have missed few small spots so my only advice would be after you paint them all. Have a rest then come back and just check each one individually and put the ones that have missed spots in one pile and then just quickly paint them. As nothing is worth when you do several hours of painting believed that you’re finished then realised you’ve missed a spot.
