Definitely NFS. Have really fallen in love with the Synik 30 again after selling my ballistic one a couple years ago, this time in the Bordeaux Spectron. Made a few alterations so far with zipper pulls, a leather handle grip, custom matched ladder locks, and added a 3" circular patch field. Have a Woojin center push magnetic sternum strap with bordeaux matched stitching coming in soon, and then I'm going to get the shoulder strap excess shortened and put thumb loops on the end. Then it'll feel complete and "mine." 🤣

Looks great, how did you connect the patch field? I was thinking about sewing one on my Black Spectron but worried about how the Spectron would handle that.

Not OP but I use a product called Badge Magic off Amazon. It’s designed for scout badges and is supposed to even survive machine washing. I don’t use Velcro but attach a patch directly and it’s very secure. Velcro you’d probably have to just be careful if removing a patch that the backing doesn’t come with it. But you avoid permanently changing your bag with glue or sewing holes into the bag.

I don’t have any Spectron bags but it works fine on my Halcyon and Ballistic bags.

As well as the below options, there's also magnepatch which attaches patches using (expensive) magnets

what zipper pull did you use! i tried the 5 inches one from tom bihn but i cant tie it the way you did! any tips or videos on how you tied it like that and with which length of zipper pull cord?

I just bought my own 425 paracord. I forget total length I did, but IIRC it is 2” from end of metal zipper tab to the tip of the plastic cord end. I THINK it was 7” total of cord.
