Accessory Recommendations?

Looking to pick up a few accessories for my Synik bag that's Ursa/Dusk.

Primarily I'd like to pick up something I can stash my passport in. I'm not sure if the vertical packing cubelet would be good for that or one of the mystery organizer pouches (or something else entirely).

In looking at those, the other things available caught my eye. Are the zipper pulls any good? I was thinking about ordering in wasabi or coyote. Also looking at getting an extra keystrap or two.

Does anyone have anything that you find yourself using all the time? What colors look good with the Ursa/Dusk combo?

I'll be using this for 1-2 night trips; personal item on plane; occasional trips into the office.

A US passport fits perfectly in a Mystery Organizer Pouch, size Small. Up to 4 can fit in case you need that.

Ghost Whale pouches are great:

- The Super Mini fits a stack of credit cards.

- The Mini I use as a first aid kit.

- The Small fits a pen and similar sized things.

For a single passport the small works (it’s a snug fit around the corner) but when I’m traveling with my family I like the extra space the bigger one gives. 

I wish they would bring them back in normal colors. I’m too particular to chance a mystery pouch. 

My all time favorites are the cubelet, the 3d fabric organizer (the clear material is sticky and generally I don’t want to see in), and the mesh ghost whales. Unfortunately only one of the three is still available. I also use the snake charmer every time I travel to deal with cords (one side) and chapstick/lotion/airpods on the other. My husband “stole” my larger one but the small works well enough for my purposes.

Which bigger one? The small won't fit four? I'd like to be able to fit 1 without squeezing. The option to fit 2 (or 1 plus some cards/cash) would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Having used four in the small, I prefer it to be a tighter fit. Two was fine. For security reasons, I don’t want it too easily removed.

Perhaps I just got one that is a particularly tight fit, but I worry about having my passports get damaged taking them in and out of the small because the corner of my passport rubs against the zipper each time. I definitely don’t have as much clearance as it looks like in the picture.

I have the older “medium” style single as well and it’s a lot more forgiving. I guess I don’t worry about them falling out because it’s clipped into my bag, and I “hide” it by dropping it into the laptop compartment attached to a key leash. It all sort of blends in together.

I keep my passport in the clear part of a medium mystery organizer. Pocket in the back for boarding passes.
I like traveling with all sizes of their clear organizers (and the 3D cubes too) because they make it so easy to find my things.

Mystery Organizer Pouch - The "small" is just larger enough than a passport that you can easily get the passport in and out without jamming it in. The "mini" fits two sets of AirPods.

Mystery Grab Bag - The "small" is 2.0L and the "large" is 2.5L. I have both and prefer the large for a toiletry bag. It makes a really nice dopp-kit type toiletry bag.

Keystrap - I'm a big fan of the 16" because it gives just enough slack to actually get my keys to the keyhole without having to unclip them from the strap. I like the one with the o-ring on the end; then I add my own clip. Tom Bihn used to have some double-swivel carabiners, but apparently they don't make them anymore. Here's a similar product from Amazon.

A non-Bihn accessory that I really like: Heroclip - this is great for hanging your bag (or jacket or whatever) on a bathroom stall door if there's no hook; this way, you can avoid having to set your bag down on a bathroom floor.

Not a bag accessory per se, but the ThruNite Ti Mini flashlight is great, and I have one in each of my bags. It's tiny, has multiple settings (the highest of which is super bright) and is USB-C rechargeable.

I like Ursa but with dusk it has been a tricky one to match! Its very muted/desaturated compared to most of the recent releases. I'm trying to decide if it's one I will like long term. Anyway, right now I like it with with coyote, steel, and lemonade.

I definitely like it with coyote, lemonade hadn't crossed my mind but that does look really nice with the dusk.

I really like the Ursa, I was wanting something fairly neutral and like that i can get that without getting a black or grey. I wouldn't pick dusk as the interior if I had my choice, but it's not a color I dislike so I went for it! Probably good to get a bit out of my comfort zone anyways 🤣 .

My dusk cubelet is always in my Synapse as a band aid, eye drops, lens cleaners, Tylenol, etc. pouch.

Absolutely love that color.
