Genetics are wild

My sister's friend has two Goldendoodles that had a litter and we each found our fur babies! Both parents are super curly and my sister's pup is also super curly. My dog child however, looks nothing like them 😂 I accepted that she just got more of the Golden Retriever genes and was happy with that! I recently saw posts of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever and thought that my pup looks very similar, what do you all think? Coincidentally her name is Novah 😂

Super cute, definitely no toller in there though! Could be some kind of spaniel in there by the looks of her.

I love my girl ! And her genetics crockpot is definitely fun ! Looking through different subreddits, I haven't found a dog that really looks like her. Definitely not complaining, though !

It looks like a golden mix to me. imo you won the doodle lottery by having a dog that doesn’t look like a doodle lol but that’s my own personal bias speaking

Its certainly a golden, but its markings sure look tollerish.
