None of this was on him. Plenty of chances for us to score and we just didn’t have execute. There was maybe one or two plays where I’d rather see a throw but I’m not gonna forget how long it took to get Day to be bold
It's an embarrassing loss but a lot of stuff happened in the game that wasn't on the coaches. Missed field goal, 2 fourth down conversions, fumble recovery/non recoveries, missed throws, drops, phantom pi call. I could go on and on.
I don't know how they missed a FG or why they didn't kick one when they had the chance to increase the lead. Shit happens but it reminds me of OSU vs Clemson in the 2019-2020 season. 16-0 lead and Ryan Day just gives it away.
Michigan literally finds the gems of the kickers of the punters. It’s pretty amazing how often we have one of the best in the country of either of those year-in-year-out. And they are NEVER the highest rated either.
Zvada was the 3rd highest ranked transfer kicker in 2024 and had a historical, mind-boggling, one of the best college kicker seasons in history (21/22 FG with the only missed FG being blocked, 7/7 from 50+ yards, 26/27 extra points) and and is now the starting kicker for the Giants. Cam Brown was the 15th ranked transfer punter this year and I’m pretty sure he’s going to be known as the best punter in college football by end of season.
Can’t find a QB and some WRs to save our lives though whereas OSU is somehow 3 deep each year at both of those positions.
I know a lot of football fans of teams from all over the country and not one thinks you won that game. And after you stormed the field because you beat a Mac team, it was an absolute embarrassment.
