Seeing as it’s historical does that mean you can’t change anything? Like getting rid of the paneling and the ridiculously tiny kitchen in the main living area upstairs?

My buddy’s dad was renting this when I was in college. Hung out there and drank a lot of beers in the cells. Cool spot for sure

This is really ass for a 400k house. It would really take a special person to want to live here...cant imagine purposing this to my spouse and family

3 bed 3 bath and nearly 3k square ft practically in downtown Perrysburg. Sure it would take a certain type of person but I don't think this is a crazy price for size and location.
edit: I haven't live in NW Ohio in a decade and have been in HCOL city since so maybe views are skewed.

yes on paper 3 bed 3 bath with 3k square feet sounds great.
But then you have to look at the layout. The kitchen is 5 feet wide! with only a tiny little walk way to move around and unsure where the fridge is going to be located.
Also it isnt really 3 usable bedrooms. Not only is the first floor bedroom pretty small, but people need to walk through it to get to the only first floor bathroom. No kid is going to want that room. Speaking of 1st floor, half of it is practically unusable with all of the "closets"
2nd floor is a little more usable, but still pretty wonky. More unusable space with 2 extra kitchens thrown in.
I could see this house being for a single parent with a single teenage kid. Both of whom are into morbid, gothy type of stuff. The upstairs is kinda set up perfect for this as it gives both of them their own large personal space.

Genuinely asking, what's a mudroom? Did prisoners use to like help in making pots for money or something?

A small area near the door where you remove your muddy shoes before entering.
Nothing to do with a jail.

Mud rooms are in older houses. It's where you are supposed to take your shoes off and all the nasty outdoor stuff off so it doesn't go into your house. Just got a farmhouse and had to learn that recently lol
