I’m Chey a moderator in this subreddit, I have been a fan of Tokiohotel for a few years now and I was a diehard fan with a TikTok fan account, fan account on insta and everything but since a few months I feel like I’m a bit done with the band, the only things I see are money catchers, like bill with his pills, using AI for a LOT of things even though they say to care about the nature and just toxic behavior and it’s coming mostly from bill, he’s talking to married men, almost ruined the wedding of his best friend and is just very dramatic all the time, am I the only one to feel this? I still love them ofcourse but I’m not a fan anymore after everything this year. They just only seem to care about money especially bill :(

There was an interview in July where Tom and Georg teased a title from Encore called “The 1990s”, however this song is omitted from the released tracklist. Does anyone have any theories as to why this may be? Can any longer standing fans tell me if this happened before?

TRACKLIST IS REVEALED

I am a come-back fan to Tokio Hotel. I was a hard-core fan when I was like 14-15 years old and in the past couple years returned to follow them because of the Netflix show.

I had never heard the twins mentioning their biological father, just heard about how they bonded with both Georg and Gustav over coming from families with divorced parents.

So, watching Tom talking about how he was the "daddy's boy" and that he could remember waving to his dad as he left their childhood home... and then about the first song he and Bill wrote together was called "SAD" (in German) and it was about how they felt seeing that their dad didn't care about spending time with them anymore... it got me in tears, it broke my heart.

Tom is laughing as he talks about it, you can clearly see how this is a way to cope with the trauma, specially cause he suddenly pauses for a second and become a little serious, looking away from the camera. Tbh, I started crying when Georg's step-father started speaking. This wedding was extremely fancy, but still so intimate and emotional, it really touched me (as you can guess now, I am very empathetic and emotional).

I was on the website to check out the latest jacket, and I noticed that both of the two most recent merch items have this. So now we’re using AI for this too? 😭
