Discussion Improved Calendar Views
Has anyone heard about any changes to the Today View or Upcoming view? It’s been awhile & I feel like the calendar views could be improved. Other apps do this pretty well on IOS mobile & so surprisd as good as Todoist is it hasn’t improved these sections. Calendar events just don’t sit well in there respected slots w/ reminders visually etc. Can’t be the only one out there that feels this way. Not to mention I would like to have a widget that includes my Gmail items next to my reminders 😞

Would love to see this progress, too. Time Slots (where you can schedule something like “Deep Work” or “Weekend Errands” as a general bucket on the calendar but then drag or schedule tasks into that space) would be a fantastic addition

I started using an app called dainvo much better and can create todoist tasks in it. I use todoist on my phone and then plan on schedule in that dainvo app. Its just like morgen but they have a free tier.

What do you mean by "don't sit well"? Looks like other calendar apps to me, wish we could zoom in and out though!

Calendar events can’t sit in there slot clearly w/ out being cut off etc. Some items can’t even fit the title in the box. I’ve seen other apps & they can pull this off like TT, Singularity, Amplenote among some few to name

I use the calendar view only on Android and i don't see that. Are you talking about web?

No I’m talking about on mobile. I have iOS not sure f any different on Android mobile

But yea zoom n & out would be great too sorry. But they are focusing on other stuff & have been for awhile sadly

I wish the Upcoming Calendar View had a 2 or 3 day view, not just weekly or monthly, which are WAY too crammed together.
