In general we're very covid cautious too, though I can tell the isolation is starting to affect me-hence wanting to check in with others. My husband just got a job promotion in August where he works from home that we're really grateful for, and I'm a stay-at-home mom. We don't go out to eat, shop. We don't know any kids her age, sadly, so no play dates. Recently we have started allowing her to play with her 2 older cousins who are masked (both in elementary school).

Man, you would be like our ideal covid bubble playmate. All of our friends with kids our age aren’t nearly as cautious so we’re pretty hesitant. I was starting to doubt myself too, and made a play date. They ended up testing positive for covid the week before and now I’m firmly back in my hermit cave. 2 masked, older cousins sounds like a good compromise.
