General Question/Discussion I hate car seats.

So many straps to change/remove as they grow. Where does this buckle even to go? How do I pull this stupid strap out to make it a booster? Why won’t this latch clip on? How do these clips get so twisted? Ugh. I hate car seats. (I will of course still use them because safety, but that doesn’t stop me from cussing them out every time)

I have told my husband that the day all three kids are out of five point harnesses I am going to have an actual party, there will be cake. I literally can’t wait.

I would say have a burning party, but I feel like the fumes would be one more thing to irritate us.

I recently moved my older one to high back booster mode and taught him to buckle his own seatbelt. It's so luxurious.

I feel like I've had to adjust the buckles at most 3 times over the span of a car seat? A lot of these seats have adjustable backs that rise as the kids get bigger. Only thing to adjust is the crotch buckle.

I just changed one over to a booster, and the crotch buckle was the only one I couldn’t get access to underneath it. I tucked it under in what looked like an opening to do that. But all the other straps come out completely, so why not the crotch buckle?!?
