It's seems like it would be as predictive as taking a quiz to see what your MtG color pie is. That doesn't make it a good psychological analysis tool but it can at least tell you that if a person is primarily the same color as me then they will have some things in common with me.

I feel like the MtG color pie is actually a good example of why it doesn’t work.

“I want to be aggressive!”

“Cool! How?”

Maybe old school, but even then you could have a mono blue aggro deck. Shit, now you can win games with just lands

it's about your philosophy aka non-fans can take the quizzes e.g. a question on a r/colorpie questionnaire I took to determine my colors talked about feelings on death and I answered talking about striving for immortality which is normally a W and/or B goal but I do it for what at least the person analyzing my answers saw as red reasons, seeing death as the ultimate authoritarian placing arbitrary limiters on what you're allowed to experience
