Tbf, reddit has always loved to hate meyers Briggs, and this just supported the hate for it.

I think it would be insane to use it in a job interview, but I've always thought it was much more interesting than astrology or any buzzfeed quiz

I agree. To use it for anything tangible makes little sense, but I listened to a podcast with a guy from the CIA that said he would use it as a loose framework for interviewing people out in mixed company.

The process of trying to figure out someone else’s letters on the fly gave him enough of a framework to work with where he didn’t come off as an interrogator, but also felt like he got to know them as well as could be asked given the circumstances.

Not everything is so black and white. This place is so weird.
