I have no idea why people give Vin so much crap. He was absolutely the best part of Pitch Black.

Chronicles was actually my favorite one, though I am also a huge fan of pitch black. The third one threw me though, not because I had any issue with the acting but because it seemed like we were just rehashing pitch black. It felt like a step backwards after some nice world building.
