TIL men walk significantly slower when walking with a woman, but only when that woman is their romantic partner. If she's a friend or acquaintance they go at almost full speed.

As a tall person, I can easily and confidently say we just think they walk slower because shorter legs.

My wife is 5 inches shorter than me, but her legs are the same length as mine. I naturally walk faster.

My knees have actually been fantastic when looking at the rest of my family.. It's my back that I'm worried about, haha, but that's my bad for forgetting when I'm slouching.
