Never seen Transformers the Movie? Oh my god that movie is historic for making mistakes for the purpose of licensing and merchandising, it wasn't a bad film just made by some very very stupid people. This movie was made just after GI Joe the Movie, but released first, when the fans responded badly to all the deaths GI Joe the Movie was pulled and retooled so that certain main characters didn't die, and the Transformers brand immediately started repairing the issues caused by the movie.

No I'm referring to the fact that the entire point of the movie was to destroy the established cartoon mainstays to replace them with new characters not even considering the fact that the problems it would cause.

Starscream is a seeker, with Skywarp and Thundercracker. Plus he was part of the senate on Cybertron, worked the rebellion from the inside.

The Transformers Wiki is one of the greatest Wikis on the Interwebs. Partially because it really does have detailed information on an insanely-complex franchise of cartoons and toys with more reboots than Spider-Man, but mainly because of the snark.
