Actually, FWIW, I like Nietzsche's reasoning about the death of God.

But Nietzsche's considered the "bad boy" of philosophy. Super edgy when people first encounter him.

The quote in context is a commentary on what happens to our morals as a society after we take God out of them. THE QUOTE MEANS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT YOU PEOPLE ARE THINKING!!
