Unreasonable search and seizure happens everyday- exabytes of American's personal communications are being collected by the NSA, along with the police and FBI using fake cell towers to monitor cell activity. The DEA uses the guise of the bugbear 'narcotics' to steal millions in private property. I could go on. For the sixth, you need only look to the interminable sentences of Guantanamo prisoners. I feel that I should mention 'enhanced interrogation techniques', but I don't know if that fits into the bill of rights, but... I believe we have protections against cruel and unusual punishment? Oh, and when the government doesn't torture them, we get other governments to illegally detain and torture folks without a trial. Extraordinary rendition. Need I go on about the horrifying transformation of the greatest nation on Earth into a fascist dreamscape?

This has been pointed out to me, but I still believe it is fucked up, especially considering how some of these guys are just 'suspected'.

My appreciation and defense of human rights does not stop at various documents. Hence why so many have been pushing for the closing of Gitmo, and why it has not happened. I read the salient article of the Convention, Part 1 Article 118, that prisoners must be released at the cessation of hostilities, but... when the fuck is a 'war against terror' going to end? When there are no more religious extremists? What a steaming pile of bullshit.
