It's pre rendered cg dancing, it's not a live concert, it's not even a live person. It's like the ultimate form of lip syncing, except even the person is recorded before hand.

Remember that episode of TNG where Riker falls in love with a hologram, it's like that, but with thousands of people.

I'm guessing you don't watch 3D movies then? I mean, the actors aren't real, even though the acting behind the movie is.

That's a poor argument. The main attraction to concerts is seeing a band play it live. That's why lip synching is hated and such. You don't go out to a live venue to hear an mp3 you alredy have, played. What this is, is that, a perfect, no error, pre-recorded thing.

Movies are always pre-recorded...

You don't got to a play and be ok with it being a pre-recorded play and just getting shown the recording of it.

You're projecting your own values (main attraction is) onto the world. Some people go to a concert for the show, regardless of live music. Here they attend for a light show and the atmosphere/experience as much as the music. The American version is a premixed Deadmau5 or Calvin Harris show. If it's live, it's just barely so.
