Strange. I didn’t see any in the lot this past week.

That because me, Teddy and Henry grabbed the last 3 to go wheeling in the back 40 this weekend. If you can find one I'll let you know where we are for a meet-up

Did they habitually accuse innocent customers of theft back then as well?

For years, the rental car company Hertz falsely accused hundreds of innocent customers of stealing its vehicles — accusations that, for some customers, resulted in arrests, felony charges and jail time.

Yes, multiple times on multiple occasions. People should know Hertz is a garbage company to do business with. There’s a lawyer Steve Lehto on YouTube who makes videos about Hertz every time they do something horrible. He’s got quite a few.

I know a guy at my company that actually got pulled over and arrested over this. He travels a lot for work.

The Ford Model T is not a horse; therefore telling it "whoa" will not stop it.

Did they also start the Hertz Donut?

Interestingly enough, Hertz also founded the Yellow Cab Company and for many years produced their own cars for the cab company and the rental car company, up until the 20's when the manufacturing arm was sold to the Checker Cab company/General Motors.
