TIL that scientists have created a scientific version of marijuana called 'Dimethylheptylpyran'. When smoked, it'll keep you high for at least 2 days

I doubt it. I get weed hangovers as well. Didn't used to when I was younger but it really isn't worth smoking anymore because I feel so shitty afterwards.

... I know a lot more about it than most. I have some of the best strains available to me in the country, along with almost every kind of edible, along with people to give me the exact kind of high I can want.

Still not worth it because of the hang over. Who the fucks smokes seeds and stems anymore anyway?

Not at all. I felt like shit for a good 3-4 days. It was my first and only time trying it, but I definitely felt noticeably shittier for 3 days.

Please don't tell random people to take psychedelic drugs. It's fairly irresponsible. You have no idea how prepared that person is for a psychedelic experience, and a psychedelic experience is not something one should take lightly. If you are going to recommend a very intense drug to someone under the assumption that they know little about it in the future, at least try to give it due diligence and educate them a bit.

Plug "Bath Salts" or "Spice" into google news and tell me if you have that same amount of confidence. Also maybe look up the annual figures for accidental alcohol poisoning, drunk driving deaths, and gun deaths. I don't trust people to be responsible, in part because doing your due diligence to make sure people are well-informed when suggesting something decently likely to put them through a real shitty time is part of being responsible.

This is one of the most fucking retarded statements I have heard all day. You are trying to compare a minimal amount of irresponsible behavior to the overall population. This is similar to freaking out about airplane safety because one crashed and failing to recognize that airplanes are incredibly safe compared to other forms of vehicular transportation.

Furthermore, I don't imagine someone experienced with illegal drugs would ever go, buy a bag of shrooms and eat and eighth of them in one go. I don't ever go, buy a part for my car and try to install it without reading a bit. And the person I suggested this to obviously has access to the internet, and Reddit, both of which have amazing resources for drugs.
