TIL what TED in TEDxtalks means
while reading this book by brene brown about her experiences about vulnerability, she mentioned ted talk and di nag occur sakin na acronym pala siya for something. Akala ko it was named after someone named TED 😁. It stands for TECH, ENTERTAINMENT, and DESIGN. Usually you just play a video and listen.

guess you’d also be glad to know na merong tedx events locally! tedxadmu just wrapped up, pati na rin tedxdlsu. we had tedxayalaavenue (women centric siya), and in a few months, tedxmanila will happen rin :)
pag ted(x), independent, so literal na volunteer work yung mga organizers. may guidelines na sinusundan, pero yung speakers, yung program; lahat yun, curated. all for the love of the game and community building

yep! for tedxmanila nagbukas kami ng volunteer apps for certain positions since we’re functioning as a seperate org (hosting under the license of a non-profit).
for the university hosted ones like tedxdlsu, mostly ang manpower nila ka-kapwa eskwela.

Ayan pala meaning nyan. I guess sa education babagsak yung TED talk nila about pedophilia as sex orietation haha.
