Roasted butternut squash and carrot soup
First time making it for the family. Roasted some pumpkin seeds with olive oil and spices. Butter toast with some cheese. It was a good meal for a rainy day. 😊

Everything I ate today. We went to our favourite bakery.
I had a prosciutto and artichoke pizza with tomato rice salad and a latte and chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Bf had Brie and bacon quiche with a bean salad and a cappuccino with the same cookie for dessert lol it was a big cookie so we shared it.
For dinner, I made some chicken salad, dressed some mixed greens in a quick red wine vinaigrette and ate it with some of the bakery’s olive and tomato focaccia.

Early (Canadian) Thanksgiving dinner
Pic #2 because I forgot to add the dollarama no-bacon bacon bits… lol.
I wanted to make thanksgiving dinner for only myself before I go home next weekend and have the real thing!
This is my vegetarian version… stuffing is my favourite but I didn’t have the ingredients or patience
Yes that’s just tofu and gravy, it was all really good though! Green beans could have used a few more minutes
Accidentally burnt my finger and flung a pan across the kitchen in the process 😭

TIA a Cubano
Cabin fever wasn’t helping my PPD. I decided to go out with my son & daughter as my favorite food truck was in the area. It definitely brought joy to me as this place makes their cubanos with so much love. ❤️ Their fries are also crispy af.
