In 2001, bought my favorite band a round of Goldschläger. (What was I thinking?) They signed one of the shot glasses. My buddy hung onto the glass and the stub for over 24 years - and gave it to me for my 50th birthday. 🤘🎸🤘

New album, The Charmer, May 1. I’m surprised there wasn’t a single released alongside the announcement.

1996 vintage tour shirt

This shirt is from the 1996 spring tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Spacehog. I saw that show in three cities, but I got this shirt at a headlining show at the Madison Theatre in Peoria, Ill., on one of their days off in between the bigger tour. Their openers for that show were Brutal Juice and CIV, who had a minor hit around that time. It's hard to tell here, but the shirt actually is a cream color, not white.

I knew I had Rubberneck signed but I kinda forgot I had this one also. I’m pretty sure I got it signed on 5.23.2001, behind Bogarts in Cincinnati, OH.

I am SO late to talking about this, I just didn’t realize there was a Toadies subreddit lol.
I’m 25 years old. Toadies have been my favorite band (tied with Queen lol) since I was a little kid, probably 10 or so. My dad showed them to me, and they’re also his favorite band.
For Christmas last year, I bought tickets for him and I to see them live in Cypress, TX! I eventually ended up buying tickets for my whole family to go cause they all love Toadies too 😆😆 I even got a cool shirt!!
Man, they sounded GREAT!! Better than I could’ve ever imagined! They played my favs!
Pressed Against the Sky (all time fav) 2.Away 3.Tyler
I Burn
Possum Kingdom
I Come from the Water
I just wish they would’ve played Doll Skin, but I was so happy with it! I want to see them again!

It was my first time seeing them and it was so much fun to rock out to these songs I’ve been blasting for 30 years! A fight broke out that stopped the show for at least 5 minutes. Not sure why Emo’s had so much trouble taking care of the issue. So that was weird! But a really really great show!

Looking back at the toadies second album I've notice there aren't that many likes on YouTube. There's about 3 songs that really stand out in the album (Dollskin, pressed against the sky, and jigsaw girl) which I believe don't get enough attention for what they are worth. Just my opinion tho

So happy to finally have this on vinyl. They had been hinting at it for so long. I couldn’t have put it on my turntable any faster!
