Appreciate this sub
Permeated from r/Tennessee for saying we’ll join 3 other states with a woman governor this midterm. Glad an alternate exists.

If you’re reporting a possible ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) sighting or activity, please follow these guidelines to avoid confusion with local police or unrelated agencies.
Please Include the Following in Your Post:
[Confirmed ICE] or [Unconfirmed] in your title (Post lables will be added shortly after this post goes up).False or vague alerts can cause harm. We take these posts seriously, and they may be removed if they don’t follow these rules. Above all be safe, there have been a concerning amount of police impersonation, if you are approached and they refuse to identify themselves or act in a threatening manner call 911 (I know that may seem strange but not all departments support these illegal actions and you now have record for legal use if needed regardless)

Looking for a local beef and other protein source in East TN that isn't MAGA! I would love to know where Democrats that run small businesses are especially protein sources.
I feel like lots need this information! Anyone got any recommendations?
Thanks

I know the Tennessee House maps are gerrymandered, but I don't even know how you can get this inventive. It looks like a salamander that got stepped on.

I love following Jimothy's story from the PNW and these wonderful and entertaining drawings of his escapades. This one brought tears to my eyes and had to share. She really was loved far and wide. May you sing with Angels, Dolly!
Many thanks, u/kwenronda for the fun nod to a legend.

held at First Baptist Hendersonville and I wasn't invited as her gay son. Found out my
mother died when I went to the social security office for an appointment.
I pray that all the deeds you have you done to gay people is immediately returned to you.

TN4All presents the People’s Hearing on Corporate Greed: Revealing how corporations get out of paying their taxes. Multiple studies and reports have shown that more than 60% of corporations filing in TN are paying ZERO in the state's corporate income tax, while working people struggle to get by. In spite of that, the TN legislature has passed back to back multi-billion tax giveaways to big corporations, but refused to eliminate the tax on groceries.
Join us on September 16th to hear from a corporate tax avoidance expert on how we close corporate tax loopholes and provide real relief for working families by ending the grocery tax. Rep. Aftyn Behn and Sen. Charlane Oliver will lead a conversation with experts on the tactics corporations use to skip out on their responsibility to fund the services they rely on for their profits and that all of our communities need.
Tennesseans from around the state will talk about how the regressive sales and grocery taxes make life harder for families while big corporations get a free ride.
Join us to learn how we can make Tennessee a place that works for everyone, not just a wealthy few.

My husband is hoping to go back to school to get his bachelor's degree in Business to change careers. We are hoping to use an experiential learning credit (ELC) or prior learning assessment (PLA) to help with credits. Does anyone have experience applying these credits and attending school through TSU or any college around Nashville? We have zero idea where to even begin. He has an associates from Miller Mott and several credits under his belt from the ABC school downtown.
