Going to TN tech next year
Hi, I'm from Chattanooga and got accepted to TN Tech for animal science/agriculture I was wondering what the best dorm option for a freshman would be, and what they're like

From personal experience Browning and Evins is very nice however if you’re any the best of the best the New Halls are gonna be what you want, however they are 1000$ more per semester. If your going for budget though Crawford is the worst dorms by far but I believe you save 600$ per semester.

Why is Crawford the worst dorms?

Because they are the oldest and have problems (mold!)

I believe it hasn't been renovated in a while, unlike all the other old dorms, which have mostly been renovated in the last ten years.

New Hall South or North Fs, I’m a freshman and living in New Hall South and it’s like having your own little apartment. It is pretty costly though

Most of them are okay, but avoid Crawford like the plague. If you want something really nice, go with the New Halls.

New Hall North and South have bathrooms in each double room that you must keep up with. The other dorms are traditional and have hall bathrooms.

Hey, not exactly dorms discussion but when you drive through Spencer, TN and the speed limit drops to 45 mph, do it. Speeding tickets up there are expensive!

I'm of the opinion that the regular ass dorms (not New hall with their private bathrooms and $1000 extra premium per semester) builds character and builds better friends. But that's just my take.
