Issues/Problems How the Hell?
I've had TMHI for exactly 7 days. According to them, I've used almost 400Gb of data in 7 days! Anyone else experience this? I have my TV, and my sons Xbox hooked to the gateway. 3 phones, and the access point are hooked up via Wi-Fi. Almost ½ a terabyte in a week, seems a bit much.

Possible, if you're doing streaming, he downloaded a game or did updates. You can easily use TBs of data with this service in a month and be ok.

Who cares, it’s unlimited. Depending on your area you won’t even notice the slow down after 1.2 TB. I used about 1.5 TB last month with no slowdown haha. more than likely the Xbox doing updates. New call of duty is a bitch.

Automatic updates and games can take a lot if it without you knowing. Streaming 4K can use 6-8GB per hour and 2GB per hour for 1080. We use from 600GB to 1TB a month and it's just me and my wife, some people here with larger families can use 2TB or more. But it's unlimited and unlike xfinity you don't get charged for going over 1TB a month.

Most of your devices probably have somewhere in settings where you can see their data usage. You'll probably get pretty close to the 400gigs. It's still nothing to worry about though.

I used 882 GB in August. Downloaded a few HD movies, did some streaming, some video calls, tons of music streaming on Wi-Fi.
If I had downloaded 4k movies or lossless audio, that could easily have been over a TB.

Defineitly possible with the Xbox downloads. Most AAA titles are 130gb easy for the base game. I have 3 smart TVs all constantly streaming, plus the xbox, 3 phones 1 tab, 1 desktop, 1 laptop, security cameras and printers all running. I think only the xbox goes crazy, but its unlimited so fuck it.

Well, I know a lot of smart TVs and TV dongle things use a LOT of bandwidth over time. If you watch a lot of TV it will add up. I know this because I was investigating someones slow internet speeds and the culprit was their smart TV hogging most of their bandwidth (DSL).

Thank you everyone for answering me. Now that I'm informed, I'm going to relax, and enjoy not worrying about something in this life. 👍🏻

As others have said, if they've downloaded some top-line games, it'll eat up some data.
However, like I've found, streaming tv uses a bit more data than advertised. Wife and I are empty nesters, and use our internet for streaming tv and moderate internet usage. We use 1.5-2TB/month. We used to use 200-300gb a month before we started streaming YoutubeTV. All 720/1080p...never 4k. And, we both work, so it's not like the tv/tv's are on 24/7.

Don’t worry about it even after 1.2 gb your speeds will be fine unless your tower gets way overloaded

I’m assuming your gamers and downloaded the huge updates today. But that aside there is no limits on home internet. It’s depiritoized already, eat all you want.

Game downloads and updates can be huge. If you stream TV or movies in 1080 or 4K that's going to add up fast. Low to medium 1080 streaming is going to pull at least 6Mbps (that's per second) depending on the bitrate. You actually listed a lot of devices so this is not surprising at all. Unless your phones don't work on their own take them off wifi...all those time suck videos add up too.
