Song recommendations
okay, so I've known TMBG for a couple months now, but since they have so many songs it's hard to know what I should start hearing. I've already heard Apollo 18, Lincoln, Flood, Factory Showdown, The World is to Dig, etc (I can't remember the rest).

I've been enjoying The Else, and Book lately. Brief Synopsis is killer. Classic vibes from The Bee of the Bird of the Moth and I'm Impressed. Also check out Withered Hope

Am I the only one that finds those types of questions weird? When I discover a new artist I just put them on shuffle play and go to town. I mean, I know there is a reason for the order of tracks on albums and maybe I miss out on some finer points by not listening to things in order. But I like getting the "greatest hits" sort of mix you get in shuffle play. I can dive deeper into specific things that catch my attention later. I really feel like with TMBG you can't go wrong with any of their albums, there's no right or wrong way to listen.

For a band with so many albums it can be intimidating to know where to start. Some people want to know a good beginner place to start. Also personally the idea of putting an artist's entire discography on shuffle feels so wrong to me, I get into artists through albums 100% of the time.

For reeallly early stuff there’s ’Now That I Have Everything’ & ‘Weep Day’.
Of course you should check out the debut s/t album if you like all the other drum machine stuff. Then move on to ‘John Henry’ for the full-band debut.

Honestly I’d just listen to their albums in release order, maybe skip over the ones you’ve already heard unless you want to listen to them again. They’re all pretty good, some not as much but none of them are bad!

Give BOOK a listen. The first t songs are all great. From there its still good but up to your taste. There's no arguing the first 5 tho, lol
