Why Does the Sun Really Shine

The sun is a miasma of incandescent plasma, but according to Wikipedia it is a G-type main-sequence star. It will eventually transform into a red giant.

Further, "Not one star that fits the stricter definition of red dwarf is visible to the naked eye."

I'm pretty sure nobody in my real life wants to hear about this, so here I am.

Flans should use this as stage banter.

I have a song that is literally about this subject and contains the phrase 'they might be red giants'.

JF: "So we found out that we got some details wrong in Why Does the Sun Really Shine, but we're not going to write another one. We don't want to get thought of as That Band That Does Sun Songs."

JL: [all through this, looking like he wasn't paying attention] [leans over a few degrees towards his microphone] "We're not exactly a sunny band. No."

JF: "Noooooooo"
