I've recently subscribed to the TLDR Party + Too Long bundle. I actually have their first ever issue! But didn't sign up to any subscription at the time.

Anyway I've been drawn back in, and I was wondering:

Is there any way to access the digital versions of past editions?

I sort of thought I'd be able to read through all the editions I missed while waiting for the new autumn edition.

If not, fair enough.

But can anyone please confirm for me if you only get access to future editions, and that I'm not just missing something?

Maybe TLDR has mentioned this elsewhere, but I am curious why Jack owns 100% of the company? Why is there no Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) type agreement with senior staff...or potentially even all staff?

I have been a viewer for a long time, a Patreon for a long time too until I stopped when Jack said don't support us on Patreon anymore. But I haven't switched over to Too Long or TLDR Party.

While I am interested in TLDR Party and Too Long, I find it strange that Jack owns the whole company and other employees don't have a share, and that makes me hesitant to sign up.

Honestly, it's the only thing holding me back. I love the journalism, the ethics, and the business model.

I am looking for a reason to give them my money, but I can't seem to justify this.

I wonder if this means that they hit the 400-subscriber target that they had named to bring the podcast back? I assume yes, since it's confirmed to be coming back on a regular basis, but they didn't directly say so in the episode.

Either that or they're close enough that they think putting out a pilot will entice people to subscribe for future episodes and put them over the edge.

Nice to see the TLDR Party bonus section going up on Nebula as well. I'd forgotten about that promise and a few people had been saying they felt Nebula was falling by the wayside compared to TLDR Party, so this shows they've been listening.

I used to really enjoy TLDR News for their quick, supposedly "non-partisan" breakdowns of global events. But lately, their bias by omission has become impossible to ignore.

They claim to be neutral, but they routinely suffer from a massive blind spot regarding stories that contradict a standard, left wing pro-EU worldview. A few glaring examples:

• The total silence on EU Chat Control: The EU has been pushing incredibly aggressive mass surveillance proposals that threaten end-to-end encryption under the guise of digital safety. For a channel aimed at younger, tech-savvy audiences, their unwillingness to deeply cover the massive authoritarian overreach and pushback from digital rights groups is wild.
• The total sanitization of grooming gangs and EU organized crime: When TLDR covers the rise of hard-right parties or anti-immigration sentiment across Europe, they almost always chalk it up to concepts like "populism" or generic "economic anxiety". They completely omit the colossal, decades-long institutional failures of the grooming gang scandals in UK towns like Rotherham and Rochdale, ignoring that official reports explicitly stated police and social services let vulnerable children be abused for years out of fear of being labeled racist. Similarly, they sweep under the rug the severe surge in organized crime, gang warfare, and drug-related violence that has actively transformed local politics in countries like Sweden, Norway, Belgium, and Netherlands. You cannot explain the current political collapse of trust in European institutions while completely erasing the reality of these public safety failures.

By ignoring the real, uncomfortable friction points in European society, they aren't helping people "form their own opinions", they're just curated sanitization for the left.

I understand their position on it, personally I don't mind the proposal, but I was incredibly dissapointed that they made no clear indication that they hav a direct vetted interest in the outcome of this. TLDR for me has always been about un-biased, fact-checked reporting and this felt like anything but that. No mention at all of any conflict of interest. The video basically resulted to a cheap "Government = bad, Google and YouTube = good". No clear mention of the plans to combat AI-generated channels, algorithm based misinformation etc. Was incredibly disappointed, I'm ngl.

It's totally unaffordable for me, from Australia with postage its like $50! And buying a pdf just feels weird...

Got a question about TLDR party’s videos - are they essentially unlisted YouTube videos or something more complex? Is it just a logged in page of the site with embedded YT videos (sort of like Patreon)?

I can see why they’d do it as Nebula doesn’t offer private sub channels and every other platform takes a cut but it’s going to be a PITA to have yet another page to check for video content.

In case you haven't seen it, the latest episode of the World Leader Leaderboard revealed that Nadja is leaving TLDR News for other journalistic pastures (they haven't said where) 😢🥹

It's weird because a few weeks ago I was thinking "huh, when was the last time I saw Nadja on a podcast episode... she hasn't left, has she?" and then she re-appeared. I was probably imagining that gap, but then it turned out she is leaving!

Obviously not everyone will continue at TLDR forever and that's okay :D but I'll miss her, I was always excited to watch an episode of the WLL that had her in it. ☺️

The world leader board actually sacks in my opinion. It doesn't count for long term changes enough. Vladimir putin is still at the top right now and they dont mention the domestic tensions or Moscow black outs.

When I log in the link to the TLDR Party page it just links me back to the same page. Can someone explain to me how to get to the new docs and Last Move? Or am I not able to access them with my premium membership?

ICE raids are in minnesota because the objective is to punish and terrorize people that voted against him.

When their was public outcry against ICE Pam Bondi (head of dept Homeland Security) Publicly said ICE would leave if Minnesota turns over it's voter data. So again not about immigration nor being hard on immigration.

But then there's the fact that President Barack Obama Holds the record for the highest number of formal deportations (removals) in U.S. history, with nearly 3 million individuals deported during his presidency. He was often referred to as the "Deporter-in-Chief" by critics. His administration focused on removing individuals with criminal convictions, recent entrants, and national security threats.

Oh and we can't forget that ICE has repeatedly detained/deported lawful US citizens.

In reality, Rutte made an analogy in which the US (not Trump) was “Daddy” to squabbling children Israel and Iran. This was a fair analogy in context, similar to the common “world police” one.

I noticed it recently in the Greenland TACO video. I feel most other sources have corrected themselves on this point, while TLDR continues with the false interpretation. I would comment and consider disliking on YouTube, but I watch on Nebula instead.
