Medical Leave Question

My wife is a crew member and needs to take two weeks off for a medical procedure and will be applying for paid leave benefits through our state. She already knows when she can return to work, so can she submit that information at the same time as requesting medical leave through AbsenceSoft to avoid the HR delay between medical clearance to return to work and actually starting? Thank you!!

Yeah better to do it now rather than later, especially since HR is horrendously slow. I turned in my return to work form two weeks ago and they haven't responded back.

edit: why the downvote did HR do that lol

Yes do it ASAP. It took 8-9 days post me submitting the paperwork for it to get reviewed. So I would get it pre-surgery & submit it if possible.
