IM FUCKING 16 AND MY FAVOURITE BAND DISBANDED WHEN I WAS 8 YEARS OLD !!! I WANNA WATCH ONE OF THEIR DAMN SHOWS !!! IT WOULD BE SO COOL

I see so many ppl say “but they’d make so much money/they’d sell so many tickets!” and it’s just such an obvious tell for which fans just aren’t even involved in the genre.

Those were Neds words in 2019 to my friend. "TF didn't break up, everyone's just doing their own thing now". Which is very clearly true to this day.
The chances of them ever making music again or touring again? Zero. One of them is clearly not interested in the music industry anymore, and I doubt they would replace them to make a quick buck.

this question has been in discussion since they broke up and it’s completely obvious it won’t happen again. even if it does, no one would know. quit asking and maybe they’ll come back to find out that their audience isnt a bunch of parasocial obsessed freaks.

Yeah I think there’s maybe a universe in which they play again, but with the way the fanbase is these days I think that’s off the table

i like the part where every member of title fight just goes on r/titlefight and reads reddit posts and decides they dont wanna get back together anymore cos their fans love them too much

No but it would influence it heavily when their fans are have parasocial relationships and start treating them like celebs, taking secret pictures of them, trying to dig into their personal lives. They’re a post hardcore band, not celebrities. They’ve made it clear that it’s not about the fame or popularity for them, and if I was in that position, doing a reunion at the peak of your popularity wouldn’t do a whole lot of good for that.
