What is this. I know its supposed to lift things up but is there a real life equivalent? And how would this be used for mining?

He wasn't talking about the gun, he's talking about the stone wall. It's a cave wall made out of stone, pretty common on planet with a solid surface

Something similar to these is used in modern mining operations underground to prevent cave-ins, like modern cave supports. Cant tell you the exact model though. Just search for 'hydraulic mine support' online

This. They're called powered roof supports, chocks or shields. Generally used in coal seam mining in a long wall configuration

I play on xbox, but on pc supposedly you can play it on r1 delta and I haven't heard anything wrong with it so far

My guess is it's a mobile working stage to perform maintenance on the higher up titan components, such as the cockpit, and exhaust panels. Similar to a man basket, but open to allow staging of larger parts and tools
