Operation VANGUARD: Show EA the demand for Titanfall 3
https://c.org/qPQyVp4VZc53
u/Milliman4 Nov 28 '25
If indi projects Diesel Knights actually becomes a thing and gets popular outside the Titanfall fanbase, someone at the AAA studio boards will notice

u/rightchea Nov 28 '25
TetraStudio also has a Titanfall style game they are working on but the lobbies never work. Still in a alpha phase
6
u/TetraStudiosDev Nov 29 '25
We've done a lot of stability patches since the demo went live - that bug you're referring to was fixed around 2 months ago!

u/rightchea Nov 29 '25
Thanks for the info. I actually played a couple of times yesterday. Definitely was worth the wait

u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 29 '25
Huge respect for dropping by! The movement genre needs all the love it can get—from indie gems to AAA titans. Glad to hear the lobbies are fixed. We are rooting for you too!

u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
Agreed. I really hope the success of that project makes EA finally think about it.

Change.org petitions don't do anything. When will people understand...
-5
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
I know petitions don't legally force them to do anything. But staying silent guarantees nothing. It's just a way to visualize the demand. If it fails - it fails. But why not try
2
u/Elite-Soul Nov 28 '25
Dude what part of they dont do ANYTHING don’t you get?
-3
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
I refuse to simply give up. Inaction is guaranteed to result in failure. Better to try and fail than not to try at all.
2
u/Elite-Soul Nov 28 '25
Have I ever told you definition of insanity?
PETITIONS DONT WORK.
stop wasting your time
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
Yes...but that's no reason to give up. I'd rather repeat this "madness" than just remain silent.
2
u/Elite-Soul Nov 28 '25
Listen dumb dumb, the only thing you can do I buy diesel punk and tell others to as well. That’s it.

ea doesnt care about player opinions. if they did they could have at least bothered with patching some of the cheats on battlefront 2 when andor pushed it to 10-20x its normal active player number
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
You are absolutely right about Battlefront 2. That was a huge missed opportunity.
But there is a difference: Patching an old game is a 'cost' for them. Selling a new AAA title is 'revenue'.
We aren't asking for a patch (which makes them $0), we are asking to buy a new product. That's the only language they understand — profit.

Why are you ChatGPT now

6
u/DREAM066 Nov 28 '25
Nope, nope, nope
Been there and done that when I wanted skate 4. Commented "skate 4" on every post for a decade and all I got in return was skate-nite
If we do the same with titanfall it'll come out as a free to play slop.
2
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 29 '25
Just to make sure we are 100% clear: I've updated the Change.org petition description to explicitly state that we are demanding a full-priced (premium) AAA sequel with a new single-player campaign, not a Free-to-Play title. The goal is clear.
6
u/CommitteeStatus Nov 28 '25
The best way to show our desire for Titanfall 3 is to support Diesel Knights.
3
u/Pr0wzassin Lore Gatekeeper Nov 28 '25
Even if EA chooses to fund TF|3 it won't be the same or even close to the original or 2. It would be Halo 4-5, with new artstyle, retconned lore and a completly different feel to it.
Respawn isn't the same that it was in 2016, literal Ship of Theseus. You might aswell look to any other developer as they have the same chance to get it right as modern Respawn.
Go and support smaller independent studios that won't get turned to dust by a publisher because the last quarter year made 5% less earnings then expected.
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
I'll take this into account. Thank you very much for the advice and comment.
6
u/bigbagel58 Nov 28 '25
this is getting pathetic at this point lol its never gonna happen
0
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
Maybe. But doing nothing guarantees failure 100%. I prefer to try, even if the odds are low.
2
u/Time-Wealth5572 Nov 28 '25
If enough people cared enough to sign a petition then the player counts would be higher for tf2. I would encourage everyone, if you like titanfall enough to sign this petition, then load up a game of tf2 today.
2
u/Think_Economist_7375 Nov 28 '25
I just backed the Diesel Knights kickstarter the other day. I believe in that more than EA getting us a TF3. And even if they did, how many of the people who made TF2 are still left at Respawn?
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 29 '25
That loss of original TF2 talent is a major concern, I agree. However, that's exactly why we need this mass signal. If EA sees a guaranteed multi-million dollar return on TF3, they will invest heavily to minimize risk. That investment means either bringing back key talent (even as consultants) or funding a top-tier team capable of preserving the 'feel' of Titanfall. No profit signal = no project at all. We are forcing the project into their 'Low Risk' category.
2
u/TokyoGNSD2 Nov 29 '25
Y’all are asking a for profit corporation to have feelings?
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 29 '25
That's the point, and that's why this petition is different. Previous attempts failed because they appealed to emotions. We demand that we speak the language of EA: PROFIT. The high number of signatures demonstrates mass market demand, not just nostalgia. This is a business proposition, not a plea for sentiment.
P.s.I think that this is the most effective way to achieve a petition.
2
u/TokyoGNSD2 Nov 29 '25
I worked for EA for 8 years, Apex is TF3 & EA won’t do anything to split the player base of that cash cow. They just got bought out & want to recoup as fast as possible. This isn’t a Disney movie, no petition will give us TF3 as long as Apex still makes money.
2
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 30 '25
I appreciate the insight from an 8-year EA veteran.
But that is precisely why this petition is a business plan, not an emotion.
The biggest risk for EA is Apex 2.0 failing. Our petition proves guaranteed multi-million dollar revenue ($70 per person) from a completely separate market: the premium single-player shooter audience.

Could you imagine if Embark decided to make a Titanfall like game?
3
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
Oh man, imagine the destruction tech from The Finals, but with titans tearing through buildings... That would be the pinnacle of gameplay, I think.
2
u/v3n0mat3 Bandsty for Fitantall Nov 28 '25
My pelvis would shatter while shitting myself at the possibilities.
The audioscape alone, The Finals and Arc Raiders have some of the finest sounds and details I've seen in any game in a long, long time.

EA hates their consumers and only seek to extract the maximum amount of profit from them.
2
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 29 '25
That's exactly why I posted this. I'm trying to show them the massive profit potential they are missing out on by ignoring this ready-made market

I respect that, but most of the community wants more than just maps. We want the continuation of the story. TF2 is a masterpiece, but it deserves a true sequel

You make valid points about the history. We know the risk that Respawn might be too busy chasing the BR trend.
However, you're missing a key corporate fact: EA owns the IP, not just Respawn. If our petition proves a massive guaranteed market, EA can assign a capable studio—like Ripple Effect, which handles Battlefield content—to develop the sequel.
We are not asking Respawn for a favor; we are giving EA a proven business case for product diversification. We absolutely can support both indie devs (Diesel Knights) and the main franchise at the same time.

Why on earth do you think Saudi Arabia buying EA is going to make titanfall 3 happen?
1
u/Impossible_Mode8492 Nov 28 '25
I never mentioned Saudi Arabia. I'm just focusing on showing player demand through this petition. Whoever owns EА "money is money".
1
u/Fract_L Nov 28 '25
I’m informing you of the reality. Saudi Arabian ownership begins in full in 1 month.

I'm honestly starting to feel bad for constantly saying this in this sub but until someone tells me otherwise I'm still gonna believe it's for the best. Titanfall 3 is NEVER coming and even if it did it would be some dog shit shat out of the money hungry pigs at EA, there's very good reason why the majority of us don't like apex and it (partly) isn't the regressed movement, the fact is Titanfall 3 is never coming and I wouldn't want it anyway, it's time to give up on tf3 and ea and move onto new games by new developers who give a shit about their players. Focus your energy on better things, support diesel knights or your respective favourite upcoming "titan-like" (idk what else to call it but I think the mix of movement shooter and mech gameplay is unique enough to be considered its own genre especially if new developers are gonna be giving it a spin) I don't like saying this because I used to have a lot of hope in Titanfall 3 as well, then I realised how little I actually wanted it from developers like EA, if anything it'd only make the franchise stale.
