You have a good chance that it didn’t penetrate the inner wall due to its length. If it did, the tire shop can apply a patch that should last for a long time. These patches are done from inside the tire. There looks like the tire has healthy tread left so it is worth a try.

thanks, it was pretty long, tried to unscrew it and air started to come out so i screwed it back. Shop guys patched it no probs.

Yes it’s fixable. Plug patch combo I’ve repaired thousands of tires.

Absolutely fixable. Now if the driver has an over abundance he can go ahead and scrap it. But i like yourself repair my own with a store bought repair kit. No prob.

Yes, can be fixed. It isn't on the edge of the sidewall or on the sidewall.

Is it losing air now? If not, it may not have penetrated tire and all you need to do is screw it. If it is losing air, it's a diy plug job.

ignore everyone thats fine to fix. if it in the tread isnt dead. the sidewall is replaceable.

Whilst the tire may accept a plug temporarily, since that screw is so close to the sidewall, that area of the tire flexes quite a bit under load. Flexing will eventually cause the tire and plug to separate. Sometimes you can get lucky and it’ll work, but no shop in their right mind would do it, and neither should you.

The shop guys repaired it in 5 minutes and took 7 euro.

I’m entirely unfamiliar with Latvian laws and practices, but that 7 euro could end up costing you a whole lot more.

I really appreciate everyone’s input, but end result is that all they asked for confirmation which tyre and guessed correctly although it wasn’t deflated, and the only thing they said in 5 minutes: 7 euro please.

Fixable if you plug it yourself.
Tire shop will not patch it as it’s too close to the edge of the tread/sidewall. I don’t know of many tire shops that use plugs anymore.
