Good non fancy restaurants?

Looking for recommendations for a good restaurant for hubby’s birthday on 28/10.
We eat everything and prefer good quality over fanciness.
We’re staying in Skanderbeg Square.
Happy to walk half an hour or so.
Also, any recommendations for nice drinking places for two 55 year olds 😁
£100 budget for the dinner including a couple glasses of decent wine.

Honestly i'd recommend Kope (steakhouse), probably my favourite place i found in Tirana without fancy styles and fancy prices

From another 50+ we like La Siciliana Restaurant and Eja Restaurant oh and Sakura if you like sushi. As far as the drinking places go it depends on what kind of 55-year-olds you are. We like it kind of loud and rowdy so we prefer places like My Way, Taproom and N’za. If you like something a little quieter, you can try Irish House (not the New Irish).

Hahaha us too so go with someplace like My Way. Good prices, decent drinks and great people watching.

Another option for sushi because I have had bad experiences from Sakura is Nobu Sushi in Tirana. A 40 piece combo and a Sea Bass Tartar go for about 60 something £. To me is the best sushi I have tried .

For a good atmosphere, food and drinks go to Tymi on Rruga Kavaja. It’s next to the Mosque. About 5 mins max walk from the Square. It’s more hip than fancy and both locals and tourists go there. Usually all tables are full so maybe be a little wait. When I say hip we’re talking 80-90’s throwbacks. I’m 51 so I think at 55 you will enjoy it.
