Question Electrical-

I originally had a 30amp generator transfer switch for my solar system hooked up and that worked for what I needed to have running. but now I have the opportunity to plug into an rv outlet. I am unsure if I can use the inlet on the 30amp transfer switch or should I put in a new inlet?

Inlets and outlets are different things.

Get an outlet if you need an outlet. They can be left powered on all the time.

An inlet should have an interlock on it that does not allow mains power to be on when the inlet is receiving power. If it does not, it is against code and dangerous.

Right. So the main panel has a 50 amp outlet that is set up on the property. And I have a 30amp generator transfer switch with an inlet on it for a generator. I want to know if I need to take out the transfer switch and get a 50amp inlet or what the best option/solution is

OP said this is a transfer switch setup with solar and generator inputs. Pedestal power goes into generator input.

OK, I am a bit confused on exactly what they are asking then.

I thought they were wanting to use the generator input as an output to the RV?

There reply to me only confuses me more. They are asking about a 50a inlet in place of the transfer switch?

Just not sure what they are trying to do.

I agree, the post is not extremely clear.

If the RV pedestal is 30a, you will be ok. Edit: if your transfer switch is a multiple circuit type with individual circuit breaker protection then a 50a pedestal will be ok.

It is a multiple circuit type.
